Volunteers

This program wouldn't be possible if it wasn't for the volunteers who are willing to give their time to serve on the board, coach our youth, manage the teams and be there to ensure the safety of our kids in the locker rooms. Thank you to all of you willing to do these things! You do need to register with USA Hockey before starting this registration. BOD, LRM and Managers will register as "manager/volunteer". Coaches will register under "Player/Coach". You can register here

All coaches MUST have their SafeSport and Background screening completed prior to contact with players. You need to complete your age specific module before the first practice. And you have until December 31 to complete your coaching clinic. (The sooner the better)

Coaching clinics are already listed so get it done ASAP!

If you are only going to be a manager and/or LRM you can register with USAH as a volunteer and not have to pay them a fee. You will only need to complete a background check and safesport. However, you are not allowed on the ice or the bench unless you have completed the coaching items listed above.

You must do a screening/background check every-other season.

The ID number is Auto Generated when you click to do the screening.

Safe Sport is every year. Sometimes it's a shorter "refresher" sometimes it's the full training. Depends on when you last did it. If you have done it before, you will get an email when you can do it again, but it won't allow you to do the training until your last one is a month from expiring.
